Sustainable Entrepreneurship & Social Innovation (Master of Arts)
Wir sehen wirtschaftliche, soziale und ökologische Herausforderungen als Chance zur Gestaltung der Zukunft. Studierende analysieren Probleme und entwickeln wirtschaftlich tragfähige, nachhaltig soziale, auch digitale Lösungen. Im Zentrum steht Ihre individuelle Lernreise zum*r Entrepreneurial Changemaker*in, sprich zu einer nachhaltig sozial unternehmerisch denkenden und handelnden Persönlichkeit. Im Social Innovation Project (SIP) beginnt dies mit der Erkundung der eigenen Persönlichkeit, um ein Team zu gründen und ein selbst gewähltes Problem zu analysieren. Darauf aufbauend werden nachhaltige soziale Ideen entwickelt und getestet, die zu einem wirtschaftlich tragfähigen Konzept reifen. Dieses wird dann wirkungsorientiert evaluiert und in die Umsetzung gebracht.
Wahlobligatorische und vertiefende Module sowie interkulturelle Erfahrungen flankieren Ihren Weg. Konzepte der Pluralen Ökonomik werden besonders in den Lehrveranstaltungen „Volkswirtschaftliche Rahmenbedingungen einer nachhaltigen Entwicklung“ (6 ETCS) und „Designing Future Economies“ (6 ETCS) behandelt. Wir arbeiten fundiert wissenschaftlich und anwendungsorientiert mit innovativem Lehr-/Lernkonzept. Der Master Sustainable Entrepreneurship & Social Innovation steht für starke Netzwerkzugänge, Lernklima auf Augenhöhe, Praxisbezug, interkulturelle Erfahrungen und Zukunftskompetenzen.

„I started the SESIN master’s program at HNEE in 2021. What attracted me the most was the combination of sustainability and social innovation. For me, the SESIN program represents an academic experience that goes far beyond the understanding of ‘how to become a successful entrepreneur’. From the very beginning, I was encouraged to leave my comfort zone by questioning cherished perspectives and habits. At the same time, I received valuable insights around the phenomenon of social innovation through lectures on creativity or innovation and seminars on applying design thinking methods. I firmly believe that innovation is a key part of tackling sustainability and social problems. SESIN is a truly hands-on “learning by doing” program which provides me the opportunity to focus on what interests me most.
