Organizing Team

Sonia

she/tey

As a former participant, member of the organizing team, and workshop leader, I have been involved with PluSa since 2020. After earning a master’s degree in “Economic Policies for the Global Transition,” I am now conducting research on labor union education at the University of Göttingen, yet year after year I find myself drawn back into the spell of plural-economic education. In this field, my heart beats especially for queer-feminist approaches and ecological planning debates—and for PluSa!

Benjamin

he/him

My name is Benjamin, and I studied Pluralistic Economics in the master’s program at the University of Siegen. I now live in Freiburg and am particularly interested in ecological and post-Keynesian economics, as well as energy economics. I have participated in and helped organize the Summer Academy in recent years, and every year I look forward to spending a week learning together with many interesting and dedicated people and, in a way, living out a utopia.

I look forward to meeting you all in September!

Lara

she/her

My name is Lara; I’m a freelance journalist and have been part of Plural Economics for several years now. I’m currently studying Ethics – Economics, Law and Politics (EELP) in Bochum. Last year, I attended the Summer Academy for the first time as a participant, and I was so inspired by the experience that I’m helping out on the organizing team this year. I’m already looking forward to a stimulating week in late summer, during which we’ll develop an increasingly clear vision of an economy that’s geared toward people’s needs—for the many, not the few!

Paula

she/her

Hello! My name is Paula, and I currently live in Berlin. I completed my master’s degree in Pluralist Economics in Siegen this past March. I’m particularly interested in the doughnut economy approach, as well as feminist and ecological perspectives. Otherwise, I enjoy being creative, spending time outdoors, or doing yoga. Last summer, I participated in the Rethinking Economics Summer School in Switzerland, which inspired me to help organize PLUSA this year, even though I unfortunately can’t be there in person.
