Sarah

My name is Sarah (she/her), I am 30 years old and I am passionate about creating educational spaces in the Plural Economy Network, such as the Summer Academy, where we can think, doubt and hope together. I studied environmental economics in Kiel and my heart beats for climate justice and feminism.

Sara

Hi, I’m the second Sara (she/her), currently 27 years. I participated in last year’s Summer Academy for Pluralist Economics in Berlin and am excited to contribute to this space where many people and many economic perspectives and theories meet.

I recently completed an Erasmus Mundus Master in Global Development Policy, which was complemented with my interests in economic anthropology, degrowth, circular economy and post-development approaches.

Benjamin

I am Benjamin (he/him), 25 years old, studying Plural Economics at the University of Siegen and specializing in Political Economy. More specifically, I am interested in ecological economics and energy economics.

Last year I participated in the Summer Academy for Pluralist Economics, and I liked it so much that I am co-organizing it this year. I’m looking forward to meeting you all in August!

Hannah

My name is Hannah (she/her), I’m 25 years old and currently studying Socio-Ecological Economics and Policy in Vienna. My interest in pluralist economics was sparked by recognising the connection between the climate crisis and our economic system. I’m interested in finding new ways to engage people with these topics— whether through the learning platform Exploring Economics or the Summer Academy.

Lisa

I’m Lisa (she/her), 22 years old, just finished my bachelor’s degree in politics and economics in Potsdam. By planning this year’s Summer Academy, I am very much looking forward to reaching and meeting many people who also want to think differently and further about the economy.
